The fourth annual event is sold out and brings five straight days of NASCAR Next Gen competition to Talladega.

The fourth annual Summer Slam 499 sends drivers onto Talladega's 33-degree banks for five days of high-stakes Next Gen competition. Eight heats lead into Saturday's Last Chance Qualifiers and Top 24 starting-position race before the feature takes the green flag Sunday.

The event carries a $7,730 total purse for a field of 240 competitors. The feature winner receives $2,000 and the Summer Slam championship belt, while the top 30 finishers in the feature earn prize money.

Malik Ray enters as the back-to-back defending Summer Slam champion. The 2026 field will try to prevent an unprecedented third consecutive victory.
